President Murmu’s Mathura Visit: Full Rehearsal Completes, Tight Security Ensured
Mathura is ready for President Draupadi Murmu’s visit. Officials reviewed all arrangements. A full dress rehearsal took place Wednesday. This tested the President’s three-day trip plans. Police and administration teams were out. Thirty-five vehicles formed the convoy. They traveled from the Army Cantonment to Govardhan. Vrindavan was also part of the route.
President Murmu will be in Mathura from March 19 to March 21. Her plane lands at the Army Cantonment helipad. This is set for 5 PM on March 19. The President will visit temples in Vrindavan. She will also join religious events. These will happen on March 19 and 20.
On the morning of March 21, the President will travel again. She and Governor Anandiben Patel will leave Vrindavan. They will depart from the Radisson Hotel. Their destination is Govardhan. There, the President will visit the Dan Ghati temple. Afterward, she will take a golf cart. This will be for a circumambulation.
Full Dress Rehearsal Details
The full dress rehearsal happened the day before the visit. Administrative staff and police were on duty. They started at 11 AM. SSP Shlok Kumar oversaw the rehearsal. A convoy of 35 vehicles left the Army Cantonment. This was at 11:30 AM. The convoy headed towards Vrindavan.
Security Convoy Structure
Pilot vehicles led the way. VIP vehicles were in the middle. Special forces units followed behind. They formed the rear security cordon. The entire area was secured. The convoy followed the President’s planned route. It passed all scheduled locations. The convoy reached Govardhan in the evening. Officials worked until 8 PM. They finalized all preparations.
Three-Tier Security Ring Planned
A strong security plan is in place. A three-tier security ring will protect the President. The first circle will have Army Special Forces commandos. The second circle will be managed by the NSG. The third circle will involve ATS commandos. This layered approach ensures maximum safety.
