Jamshedpur’s ‘Chatni Don’ Arrested After Violent Home Attacks

Jamshedpur: Police have arrested a woman known as ‘Chatni Don’ in connection with a violent incident in the Sonari police station area. Priya Singh, also known as ‘Chatni Don’, and her group allegedly attacked homes late at night. Four people were injured in the attacks. They are now in the hospital. Police are looking for her accomplices.

‘Chatni Don’ Linked to Group Feud

The violence is thought to stem from a dispute between two groups. A fight happened on March 5th. This may have led to the recent attacks. ‘Chatni Don’ is a well-known person in the Gwala Basti area. Police records show she has faced charges before. These include assault, trying to kill someone, extortion, and robbery. She has been arrested several times before.

Police Respond to Violence

The police have increased their presence in the area. They have sent a Quick Response Team (QRT) to help keep the peace. This is to stop more trouble. The arrests aim to bring those responsible for the attacks to justice. The community hopes for a return to safety.
